If you like sporty chronos then you will probably like the C1’s three layer carbon fiber dial, the 16.7mm tall steel case, and the fully integrated rubber strap. The strap being integrated into the case is said to be a world’s first for a chronograph. I am not sure about the price, but it is a certified chronometer COSC, so expect to pay a premium. …

Tissot unveils ‘Danica Patrick’ T-Touch
New York—Swiss watchmaker Tissot unveiled yesterday the T-Touch Danica Patrick Limited Edition watch, which is inspired by the company’s brand ambassador, racecar driver Danica Patrick. The watch features a mother-of-pearl face set with 58 Top Wesselton diamonds with VS/SI clarity totaling 0.14 carats. The caseback features Patrick’s engraved signature and the limited-edition number. A total of 2,007 units will be available worldwide. The T-Touch offers proprietary tactile technology activated by the touch of a finger.

Black IP 5 Motor Atomic Chrono by OCEANUS
Oceanus has recently introduced the Black Ion Plated Titanium 5 Motor Atomic Solar Chronograph, which allows you to have the precision of atomic timekeeping along with a traditional chronograph movement. These newer models also feature a Tide Indicator function and have a sapphire crystal. This multi-band atomic wristwatch auto receives time calibration signals 6 times per day from the nearest Atomic clock in either the US, UK, Germany or Japan. The watch is 43mm wide and 12mm thick and this model uses Ion Plated Titanium.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Opening of the Heritage Gallery
The Le Sentier based manufactory pulled out all the stops for the inauguration of its Heritage Gallery, a showcase for more than 500 pieces retracing the history of the prestigious watch manufacturer. On 4 October this year more than 300 guests from all over the world made their way to Le Sentier to celebrate the opening of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Heritage Gallery. The evening began with a performance of acrobatics on the wall itself leading into the manufactory, which was followed by a firework display.

Breitling designs clock for Bentley
Grenchen, Switzerland—Swiss watch brand Breitling may be best known for its presence in the cockpits of airplanes or on the wrists of pilots, but the watchmaker is reinforcing its place on the road as well.
To accompany the launch of luxury automaker Bentley’s new Continental GT Speed, the most powerful production Bentley ever, Breitling has entirely redesigned the dashboard clock that is featured in each of Bentley’s famed Continental models.
The timepiece features Breitling’s logo with the raised, winged B in gold and silver-plated hands.

Vacheron Constantin 1972 Collection Cambree
The collection was unveiled in 1972 and was distinguished by the trapezoid case, curved lines and astonishing contrast of material colors. On June 23, 1972 the company Vacheron Constantin was awarded the prize “Diplome du Prestige de la France” and the exhibition “Salons d’Honneur” which tool place in the hotel Ritz in Paris. For the first time a watchmaker was awarded such a prize. Vacheron Constantin will remake the series.
