Gerald Genta opens Paris flagship
Paris—Swiss watch brand Gérald Genta has opened its first-ever boutique on the prestigious rue de la Paix in Paris.
The flagship store’s design motif—a warm, contemporary environment that blends subtle light and shade effects, and contrasts those with warm, amber wood tones, ebony and brown leather accents—is indicative of Gérald Genta’s new retail concept, which will continue to roll out globally in the coming months.
The Paris boutique features a grey-blue storefront and interior walls that meet the floor in a soft, flowing curve. Visitors will circulate around a central counter and can also view the full range of products in distinctive walls displays on either side of the store.
Gérald Genta has announced it will open boutiques in Geneva, Switzerland, and Shanghai, China, by the end of 2007. Store openings in most of the world’s major cities will follow over the next three years, the company said in a statement.
