2,621 views Jewellery Arabia, the prestigious jewellery, watch and clock exhibition in the Middle East. At Jewellery Arabia 2006 Exhibition, 50 Indian companies are participating and the Indian pavilion has occupied one of the biggest areas. GJEPC international co-convener Haresh Zaveri informed that the pavilion has acquired 598.5 square meters area and it can grow further in coming years.
Zaveri added that nearly all companies in the pavilion obtained higher than expected sales on the first day. But the number of visitors has gone down compared to yester years.
Diamond studded jewellery, plain and gold studded jewellery, platinum and Victorian jewellery, many kinds of loose diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones, beads and also beautiful handmade products are being displayed in the expo.
Majority of the buyers were from Saudi Arabia, said K K Duggal, Regional Director, GJEPC.
Five day exhibition showcases products of the most elite jewellery and watch companies worldwide. More than 500 exhibitors from 28 nations are featuring their modern designs and ranges.
