Speidel to Distribute Kenneth Cole, Tommy Bahama and Other Fashion Watches

Geneva Watch Group has appointed Speidel LLC as the exclusive jewelry industry distributor for its Kenneth Cole, Tommy Bahama, Freestyle, Betsey Johnson, and BCBG watch brands. All are well known fashion brands for apparel, footwear, and accessories.

Fred Levinger, chairman of Speidel, told JCK it’s a privilege and a great opportunity to represent Geneva and its fashion brands to the jewelry trade.

“We believe the retail jewelers have been missing a brand that makes a fashion statement, which appears to be the market growing segment of the watch business,” he said.

The Kenneth Cole and Tommy Bahama watch brands in particular are already nationally recognized lifestyle brands at price points that guarantee proper turnover and profit to the retailer, he added.

Charles Kriete, president of the status watch division of Geneva, said, “We are already enjoying a very significant watch business with retail jewelry accounts, but the association with Speidel will give us nationwide coverage to realize even greater potential.”

The agreement began April 1. All the brands will be presented at the upcoming JCK Show in Las Vegas, at the Speidel booth in the Plumb Club pavilion.
